Disturbed's David Draiman Offers to Explain the "Disastrous Consequences" of Antisemitic Stereotypes to Joe Rogan

"The idea that Jewish people are not into money is ridiculous," Rogan said in a recent podcast episode. "That's like saying Italians aren't into pizza."

Joe Rogan's hate speech and misinformation — and general essence, really — are, well, disturbing. Following the podcast crony's latest antisemitic remarks, Disturbed's David Draiman has offered to have a conversation with him and explain the "dangerous and disastrous consequences" of perpetuating harmful stereotypes about Jewish people.

Rogan made headlines earlier this week for coming to the defence of a divisive tweet from Democrat congresswoman Ilhan Omar. The politician claimed that the US Congress's support of Israel was "all about the Benjamins baby," ultimately resulting in her removal from the Foreign Affairs Committee.

Speaking to political commentators Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti on a new episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, the host doubled down on his support for the congresswoman's remarks.

"She's talking about money," Rogan said. "It's not an antisemitic statement, I don't think that it is," he argued. "Benjamins are money. You know, the idea that Jewish people are not into money is ridiculous. That's like saying Italians aren't into pizza. It's fucking stupid."

Of course, Rogan's comments did not sit well with Disturbed's Jewish bandleader — but instead of inciting bald-on-bald violence, Draiman generously extended an invitation for Rogan to sit down with him and get a lesson in why antisemitism is actually bad.

"Et tu @joerogan?" Draiman wrote on Twitter. "Listen, if you'd like to have an opportunity to talk to someone who can explain why perpetuating the stereotype that Jews love money more than any other race/creed/religion, leads to dangerous and disastrous consequences... I'm around. Let's talk."

As of press time, it's been the sound of silence on Rogan's part.
