George Harrison has gotten the supersized floral treatment for the 50th anniversary of All Things Must Pass. His son Dhani Harrison recruited artist Ruth Davis (of All for Love London) to collaborate on a special art installation in London that recreates the album's well-known cover art — where Harrison sits in the centre of his collection of garden gnomes — using flowers and horticultural sculptures.

"We thought we'd celebrate with nature," the musician's son explained, interviewed at his father's property in Hyde Park. Harrison had quite the green thumb, and apparently began working on the property at age 27 — the same year he released All Things Must Pass.

Dhani continued: "He had a connection with nature — that's how he meditated and prayed, was his gardening. My whole life, he'd be right over there — he'd be up in that hill right there."

"That's the most joyous thing I've ever seen!" Harrison's widow Olivia exclaimed upon visiting the installation. "I know that George, he'd be over the moon with this. He'd love nothing more than being in a garden. And his association with gnomes precedes him."

How beautiful and wholesome! Extreme Makeover: Gnome Edition.

All Things Must Pass was reissued for its 50th anniversary, which included being treated to a massive box set. It features the previously unreleased "Cosmic Empire."

Meanwhile, two handwritten Beatles setlists are up for auction and recordings of the band's music are set to be preserved for 1,000 years in a bomb-proof vault.
