The Weeknd has been teasing new music for a while now, and it seems like it might be finally about to arrive. The Toronto singer born Abel Tesfaye has strongly hinted that he's releasing something this week.
What exactly he's putting out is unclear, although widespread rumours on Twitter indicate he may be releasing two songs. "Heartless" is allegedly dropping tomorrow (November 25), and "Blinding Lights" will supposedly arrive Friday (November 29).
UPDATE (11/26, 11 a.m. EST) You can now preview "Blinding Lights" below. It comes as part of a Mercedes-Benz's ad. Apparently, an entire Mercedes-Benz film starring the Weeknd will arrive Friday.
Supposed cover art has been circulating, and the glitzy vibe of the photos is consistent with the video the Weeknd recently shot in Las Vegas (based on video captured by TMZ).
The Weeknd hasn't actually announced these songs himself, but he did tweet a blurry photo along with the caption "the fall begins tomorrow."

Stay tuned for whatever the Weeknd has in store this week. Perhaps this is the "chapter 6" he was talking about.
The Weeknd's last album was 2016's Starboy, while his EP My Dear Melancholy, arrived in 2018.
