Like Drake, Pharrell, Vince Staples, Beastie Boy Mike D and many more before him, the Weeknd is set to enter the world of Beats 1 radio with a new show of his own.

Via Instagram today, the artist born Abel Tesfaye unveiled a new Beats 1 radio show titled Memento Mori. The first episode is set to air this Friday (June 8) at 12 p.m. EDT. You can find the announcement below.

An accompanying caption alongside the post reveals that while Tesfaye has "been hiding out in Paris, he's decided to start a radio show and present all of the music thats inspiring some late nights."

In the wake of delivering his My Dear Melancholy, EP earlier this year, the Weeknd has appeared on the cover of TIME magazine, announced his involvement in a Toronto artist incubator, and popped up on songs alongside Belly and Rae Sremmurd.
