Hear the Weeknd's New Single "False Alarm"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Sep 29, 2016

Bust out the siren emojis, this is not a drill. The Weeknd has already followed up last week's Daft Punk-featuring "Starboy" single and video with another fresh track titled "False Alarm."

The latest Starboy tune hears Toronto crooner Abel Tesfaye taking his sound in a less dark, more dance-y direction. The track opens with relatively sparse digitized verses before exploding into a chorus that features a barrage of quick beats and yelps of the song's title phrase.

You can currently listen to the song here on HipHop-N-More. The song is expected to arrive on iTunes tonight (September 29).

UPDATE (9/30, 8 a.m. EDT): Listen to "False Alarm" via Apple Music below.

The Weeknd will follow up last year's Beauty Behind the Madness with Starboy on November 25 via XO/Republic.
