The Tragically Hip Announce Additional 'Man Machine Poem' Tour Dates

The Tragically Hip lifted the curtain on their upcoming cross-Canada tour in support of Man Machine Poem last week and have now added four more dates to their itinerary due to overwhelming demand.

The band have added additional performances in Western Canada, doubling up bookings in Vancouver, Edmonton, and Calgary, while Toronto has received a third date at the Air Canada Centre.

The summer tour announcement came after frontman Gord Downie revealed he had been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. "We're going to dig deep and try to make this our best tour yet," the band said in a statement.

Tickets for all tour dates will go on sale to the general public on June 3 at 10 a.m. local time, while American Express members can get their hands on tickets from May 31 through June 2. A portion of all ticket proceeds will be donated to the Sunnybrook Foundation.
