"So What"

Following last week's teaser, Vancouver rawk duo the Pack A.D. have streamed the first piece of music from their next LP. Titled "So What," the distortion-blasted track is online now.

The cut had first been previewed in a video teaser, which included a bit of concert footage shot at an indoor skate park. Now, the Pack are showing off their tricks through the stream, which unfurls bashed-and-boomed drum work from Maya Miller, a series of in-the-red riffs and Becky Black's beckon call.

In a press release, the band describe the song as "an anthem for the major to minor disconnection and dissatisfaction in us all," At one point, Black sings, "Promise me you'll stay."

"So What" can be found down below. The track is expected to arrive on the band's next album, which will be issued through new label home, Cadence Music Group.

The Pack A.D. will also play a pair of hometown shows at Vancouver's The Cobalt on April 12 and 13.
