The Last Shadow Puppets were buried in bad publicity earlier this week when Spin writer Rachel Brodsky called out the band's Miles Kane over some inappropriate come-ons during a recent interview. The musician apologized, and the band are back to plugging their forthcoming Everything You've Come to Expect release with a music video for its title track. Oddly enough, it too finds the duo up to their necks in a world of trouble.
Directed by Saam Farahmand, the video has Kane and partner Alex Turner in a precarious position on a remote beach, trapped in the sand as the crashing waves approach. A woman dances and screams at the pair of exposed heads, which sing along to a symphonic pop song as they await their fate. Despite their calmness, things aren't looking too good for them.
You'll find the possibly Creepshow-influenced video below, while Everything You've Come to Expect hits stores April 1 via Domino.
