The Killers Compile Christmas Singles for 'Don't Waste Your Wishes' Album

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Nov 18, 2016

The Killers haven't released a proper studio album since 2012's Battle Born, but they have delivered a Christmas holiday single every year for the last 10 years. Now, those songs — plus a new twist on "I'll Be Home for Christmas" — have been collected into an album titled Don't Waste Your Wishes.

The album arrived as an Apple Music exclusive today (November 18), while a limited edition CD release is set to follow on December 9.

As with each of the previous individual singles, proceeds from the digital album will go towards Bono's (RED) foundation, which benefits the global fight against AIDS. Proceeds from CD sales will benefit the Global Fund.

Amongst the songs on the Christmastime compilation are festive Killers favourites like "Christmas in L.A." featuring Dawes and "Joel the Lump of Coal" featuring Jimmy Kimmel. Toni Halliday, Ryan Pardey, Elton John, Neil Tennant, Wild Light, Mariachi El Bronx, Richard Dreyfuss and Ned Humphrey Hansen each make guest appearances, as well.
