Hold Steady frontman Craig Finn has revealed plans for a new solo album. Titled I Need a New War, it's due out on April 26 via Partisan Records.
The album marks the follow-up to 2017's We All Want the Same Things and completes a trilogy that also includes 2015's Faith in the Future.
I Need a New War was recorded in Woodstock, NY, with producer Josh Kaufman and engineer D. James Goodwin. It also features contributions from Stuart Bogie, Sam Kassirer, Annie Nero, Cassandra Jenkins and Joe Russo.
