The Franklin Electric "Someone Just Like You" (video)
Montreal alt-folk outfit the Franklin Electric followed up their debut album This Is How I Let You Down with a sophomore LP titled Blue Ceilings earlier this year, and now Exclaim! is giving you the first look at a brand new video for "Someone Just Like You."

The track appears on the latest album, and its accompanying video captures frontman Jon Matte in a moment of emotional vulnerability. In an alleyway in Melbourne, Australia, running on almost 24 hours without sleep, his friend spontaneously decided to start filming.

"My mind was racing, I was honestly completely broken hearted from a relationship that had just ended and he wanted to film something," Matte tells Exclaim! "With no concept in sight I just decided to dance, trying to free my body from the feelings and turbulent thoughts. I'm not a dancer at all, but I found myself pulling off my own interpretations of old break-dance steps and freestyling like a maniac. It felt great and he captured the moment on cam."

You can peek in on the cathartic, un-choreographed routine down below by watching the video premiere of "Someone Just Like You."
