Canadian roots rock band the Dungarees team up with Juno-winning producer Russell Broom for Twenty Something, a departure from previous releases with a deep and mature sound that offers traditional country music.

The title track explores nostalgia with contemplative lyrics longing for more time as the years go by. The acoustic "Die Tryin'" features pedal steel and a banjo, and lyrics that prove no one should give up. "Don't Make 'em Like They Used To" is a poetic ode to grandpas and vintage classics, while charmingly resembling Miranda Lambert's "Automatic." The roots-inspired "Hard Call" has Zac Brown Band vibes, while the upbeat rock-energized "Broken Down" is comparable to David Lee Murphy's '90s country tunes.

On Twenty Something, these Albertans have an old-school country tone that will never go out of style.
