The Dirty Nil have unveiled a new video for "Bathed in Light."
The clip sees the group embracing their love of loud noise and pyrotechnics. They unload their van and hop onstage amidst an explosion of fireworks and bright lights.
In a statement, frontman Luke Bentham explained the following of the new video:
I've been around a lot of explosions and fireworks, but the cumulative effect of all that firepower left me trembling with nervous excitement. The constant barrage of high intensity lights and lingering smell of burnt flash powder served as a proud testament to the mayhem and disorientation we had caused to the nearby community. Those lucky folks ain't forgetting the Nil anytime soon. Children of the world, nice to meet you—– sincerely, the Dirty Nil, your new favourite band.
The track serves as the lead single off the Dirty Nil's upcoming sophomore album Master Volume. It's due out September 14 via Dine Alone.
