Chart-topping DJ duo the Chainsmokers were recently dubbed "the Nickelback of EDM" by Esquire, and it seems they've whole-heartedly embraced the title.
Responding to the allegations (which essentially boil down to both acts delivering a "lowest-common-denominator sound" accented by gross sexism), the Chainsmokers tweeted out a video that hears them mashing up their own hit with some classic 'Back.
Following the piano-assisted opening to "Paris," singer Drew Taggart unexpectedly bursts into full Kroeger mode, growling his way through a verse of "How You Remind Me" — and it's as absolutely god-awful as you think it is.
