The Acacia Strain have detailed a new album. The Massachusetts metalcore vets will Step into the Light on their eleventh studio LP, arriving May 12 via Rise Records.
Following 2020's Slow Decay, the 10-track Step into the Light was recorded with returning producer Randy LeBoeuf, and features guest vocals from Chamber's Jacob Lilly and Sunami's Josef Alfonso.
The album's artwork comes courtesy of Caelan Stokkermans, who was also behind the natural beauty that covered Slow Decay. New song "Fresh Bones" arrives today following the previously shared "Untended Graves," and you can revisit both in the players below.
Next month, the Acacia Strain will embark on a US tour alongside Fit for an Autopsy, Full of Hell and Primitive Man, with those last two heavy outfits teaming for a new collaborative album just before the run kicks off. You can find their complete itinerary here.
