Smashing Pumpkins head Billy Corgan is back with his promised new solo album Cotillions. Yes, his latest as William Patrick Corgan is out now, and you can hear it all for yourself.

The record follows 2017's Ogilala, and as Corgan previously explained, Cotillions is being considered a double album.

When first announcing his latest solo endeavour, Corgan also had this to say:

Don't miss the chance to hear it for yourself before others tell you what my songs are or aren't. There is a reason I trust you, the people who support me day in and day out, to decide whether or not my efforts are worthy. We live in a different world now, where an artist can speak directly to you without the filter of mass media shaping your heart and opinions before you've even had a chance to decide whether this music speaks to you. And this is absolutely an album from my heart.

So don't let others tell you what the songs are or aren't — hear them for yourself below.

Cotillions is out digitally via Corgan's own Martha's Music imprint. The album is also expected to get a vinyl release.

Smashing Pumpkins last released their album Shiny and Oh So Bright Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun. in 2018.
