Last month, we got word that Tom Jenkinson's acclaimed electronic brainchild Squarepusher was releasing a twelve-inch on French house label Ed Banger Records. As it turns out, that single, which featured the track "Cryptic Motion," was a teaser for a full-length LP titled Squarepusher Presents Shobaleader One: d'DEMONSTRATOR, which is due out this October.
According to Squarepusher's publicist, the album is "unlike anything Tom Jenkinson has done before," but you can decide for yourself by listening to yet another teaser for the album below. And seriously, check that Daft Punk-inspired Lite-Brite jawa thing Jenkinson has going on.
Shobaleader One: d'DEMONSTRATOR will hit North American shelves on October 19 via Squarepusher's longtime home, Warp Records. For more details as they surface, you can sign up to Squarepusher's mailing list at the bottom of this page.
