Texas indie rock outfit Spoon were the big draw of the Saturday evening line-up, with a sizable crowd lining the street to watch a performance dominated by more recent material. Launching into their set with "Small Stakes" and "Rent I Pay," the infectious energy of frontman Britt Daniel combined with the group's onstage chemistry worked in getting the crowd to forget about the dropping temperatures and become engaged in the late set.

It worked particularly well with "I Turn My Camera On," which inspired a surprising amount of people in the crowd to give crowd-surfing a try. Much to the delight of those in attendance, the band were quick to return for a four-song encore, anchored by new cuts "Knock Knock Knock," and "Outlier." "So this is what Hamilton's all about," exclaimed Daniel with a wide grin, before bidding the enthusiastic crowd a good night.
