Spiritualized have expanded their North American tour itinerary for this year, with the new batch of dates adding Toronto and Montreal shows in addition to the previously announced Vancouver stop — as well as sharing a new single previewing their forthcoming album.
The English space rockers will play Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom on April 9 before headlining the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto and Montreal's Corona Theatre on September 18 and 19, respectively.
Sweeping new album track "The Mainline Song" arrives ahead of Everything Was Beautiful, slated to release on April 22 via Fat Possum — following 2018's And Nothing Hurt. The song is a product of bandleader Jason Pierce's experiences in isolation and "partly inspired by the [Black Lives Matter] protests happening in the US towards the end of the first lockdown in 2020," as per a press release.
Presale for the Toronto and Montreal shows begins tomorrow (March 9) via Ticketmaster ahead of tickets going on sale to the general public on Friday (March 11). Meanwhile, Vancouver tickets are already available for purchase.
