The Voyager-sampling The Space Project compilation may not arrive in full until Record Store Day, but beloved UK rock explorers Spiritualized are giving us an out-of-this-world sneak peek of the project by streaming their contribution, "Always Forgetting With You (The Bridge Song)."
Performed here as Spiritualized "Mississippi Space Program," the slow-rolling song has the act ushering in a series of blips and bleeps, which are eventually jettisoned in favour of reverberated guitar lines, '50s rock melodies and Jason Pierce's love-geared lyrics. Fitting in with the interstellar theme, he pledges to his lonely girl that, if asked, he will gladly walk the galaxies with her, among other promises.
