Soundgarden have indicated that their reunion is not simply a walk down memory lane, since they plan to release new music. Sure enough, the grunge band have now unveiled a video for their contribution to the soundtrack of The Avengers.
As we already knew, "Live to Rise" features plenty of meaty riffs that accompany singer Chris Cornell's blend of sensitive crooning and arena-ready wails. The video isn't much to look at, as it offers nothing more than dim performance footage and disconnected movie clips. Still, for folks who have been waiting since the '90s for new material from Soundgarden, this will be more than enough to get them excited.
