After launching the subscription-based SoundCloud Go in the United States earlier this year, streaming giant SoundCloud has delivered its service in Canada today (October 19).

Similar to the United States rollout, the service will be available for PC, Android and iPhone users, priced at $9.99 and $13.99 CDN, respectively, per month. The service sports a catalogue of more than 135 million tracks, offline listening and an ad-free listening experience.

SoundCloud has also reached agreements with SOCAN and CMRRA-SODRAC Inc. for the launch, set to generate "new creative, commercial and promotional opportunities for their artists, songwriters composers and music publishers in Canada."

"SoundCloud Go will provide Canadians with the largest and most diverse music and audio catalogue in the world," SoundCloud co-founder and CEO Alexander Ljung said in a statement. "Subscribers will be able to enjoy tracks from emerging creators, new tracks from indies, global hits as well as hits in the making, all in one place. We know Canadians are passionate about their music so we're very much looking forward to rolling out this new experience across the country."

For free users, SoundCloud will seamlessly integrate audio advertising, in-stream native ads, video ads available in both the horizontal and vertical video formats, promoted profiles, creator partnerships and more.
