Having just released their first new album in 20 years *Happiness Not Included, synthpop behemoths Soft Cell aren't forgetting where they came from as they forge ahead: they've announced a limited run of North American tour dates celebrating the 40th anniversary of their debut Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret.

They will perform the album in full for the first and last time, alongside some of the newer entries in their catalogue like Pet Shop Boys collaboration "Purple Zone,"  and the brief stint mercifully includes a Toronto date.

Beginning August 23 in El Cajon, CA, the tour will see the duo play three shows in the state of California, followed by concerts in Chicago and New York. The grand finale will take place at Toronto's History on August 31, assuring that Soft Cell's Canadian love is not tainted.

Tickets go on sale Friday (May 13) at 10 a.m. local time, with presales beginning tomorrow via Ticketmaster.
