Recently departed from the Fat Wreck family, London's Snuff strike back with their best record in six years. For whatever reason, their unmistakable brand of horny and organic Northern Soul-infused melodic mod-core is filled with more vitriolic bombast than their last three records. And it's a glorious thing. Staying true to the punk roots first unleashed on their earliest recording while continuing to experiment with dub (a sample of Prince Far I's "Waizero Dub" appears on the track "Heads You Win...") and expand their sound exponentially, Disposable Income is a solid reminder of what punk should be from a band that's been doing it long enough to know.
