Slipknot's Corey Taylor Compares Nickelback's Chad Kroeger to KFC

"Chad Kroeger is to rock what KFC is to chicken"

Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor didn't take kindly to Chad Kroeger calling his Stone Sour project "Nickelback Lite," clapping back by comparing Kroeger's face to a foot. Now, despite claiming "that's all we have to say about it," Taylor has piled on another public lashing.

In a new interview with KISW, the Stone Sour singer attempted to dodge Nickelback-related questions by saying, "I'm not talking about that dickhead. Why do I give a shit what Chad Kroeger says?"

After some prodding, though, he once again opened the floodgates.

"I'll tell you what. This is how I figured it out," he said. "Chad Kroeger is to rock what KFC is to chicken. Is that wrong? I feel like I'm not wrong."

Depending on your feelings towards the Colonel's fast food chicken chain, that could either mean that Taylor thinks that Kroeger's tunes are finger-lickin' good or a salty, deep-fried abomination that's particularly popular with less sophisticated palettes.

Thankfully, Taylor himself elaborated, explaining: "I'll still eat it, but I'm not going to feel good about it."

So far, there's no concrete data on the effect Taylor's smear campaign is having on Nickelback's record sales. Should things take a turn towards the bottom of the charts, however, KFC enthusiast Steve Lillywhite might be able to help them out.
