Ahead of delivering a new album this year, Slipknot have announced plans to bring their "Knotfest Roadshow" tour to Canada in 2022.
This April and May, the masked outfit will play nine dates in the country, with special guests Cypress Hill, In This Moment, HO99O9 and Jinjer appearing in select cities.
Slipknot's Canadian trek begins with a Western Canada swing, kicking off April 11 at Winnipeg's Canada Life Centre. From there, it's westward for an April 12 performance at Regina's Brandt Centre, an April 14 stop at Saskatoon's SaskTel Centre, a show at Edmonton's Rogers Place the following evening (April 15) and a final stop at Vancouver's Rogers Arena on April 17.
Slipknot will then return to Canada in May for four dates in the Eastern part of the country, beginning with a May 26 date at Montreal's Bell Centre. They will then head to Quebec City's Videotron Centre for a show on May 28, ahead of blitzing Ottawa's Canadian Tire Centre (May 29) and Toronto's Budweiser Stage (May 30) to cap a run of four shows in five nights.
Tickets for all "Knotfest Roadshow" performances go on sale to the general public on January 21 at 10 a.m. local time. Slipknot's Canadian itinerary can be viewed below, while the complete North American itinerary can be found at the tour's official website.
Slipknot's forthcoming seventh studio album follows the band's 2019 LP We Are Not Your Kind. The band shared single "The Chapeltown Rag" last November, marking their first new music since that aforementioned album's release.
