Just as Suicide Squad is tossing together an odd assortment of villainous characters (see Deadshot, Killer Croc and Harley Quinn), the comic book film's soundtrack is uniting some heavyweights from the music world. The latest tease is a swerve-and-crash stomp-out from Skrillex and Rick Ross titled "Purple Lamborghini."
Premiered today (July 21) via Zane Lowe's Beats 1 program, Skrillex fills the soundtrack single with a commanding clap beats, police car sirens, bombs-bursting booms and a rogue brass section.
Rozay hops on the track with revolvers out of their holsters, talking do-or-die scenarios from the Suicide Squad. He goes on to discuss Miami drug deals, poppin' off head shots, and riding around like a boss in his Joker-style violet Lambo.
"Forgive me for my wrongs, I have just begun," he warns above the jaw-busting beat.
You can hear the two connect below, while an interview with the pair had them confirming to Lowe that a video starring the Joker (a.k.a. actor Jared Leto) is forthcoming.
Both the film and the soundtrack will be released on August 5.
