Kylie Minogue is set to be knighted by the French government next Monday (May 5). The pint-sized Aussie superstar will receive the Chevalier dans l'ordre des Arts et des Letters ("Knight in the order of Arts and Letters"), France's highest cultural award for her "contribution to the enrichment of French culture.
Kylie will pick up the award on Monday at a special ceremony in Paris the day before she launches her world tour at the Paris Bercy. In a statement, Minogue said she was "deeply honoured to be recognised.
