Drawing from their 2020 album Like a Rising Sun, BC folk-rockers Shred Kelly have shared a new music video for their song "Take Me Home."

The track is an homage to singer-songwriter Tim Newton's father Bud, who Newton channels as the song's narrator, singing to his mother and reflecting on their time together before death. Directed by Sage McBride, Tim Newton and Nick Nault, and shot and edited by Nault, the stop-motion lyric video plays out a cozy and wholesome day-long scene from the front porch of a house.

This weekend, the band are scheduled to begin their cross-country virtual festival tour, beginning with Hillside Inside this Saturday (February 6). Performing from Fernie, BC, the band have pledged 25 percent of their festival earnings to Protect Our Winters Canada
