Edmonton alt-rockers Short of Able are getting set to release their sophomore album Welcome at the end of this month, and before its official arrival, Exclaim! is giving you a chance to hear the entire thing before it drops
The follow-up to their 2012 LP The Last One's Gone, Welcome runs 11 tracks in length and showcases a furthered maturity in comparison to the group's earlier work. From bouncy rock tunes to stripped-down roots ballads, the disc isn't short on variety in the least.
Welcome is slated to arrive on April 30 through Widespread Records, and the band have two release party dates lined up to celebrate. On the day of official release, the band will take the stage at the Starlite Room in their native Edmonton before gearing up for a night at Calgary's Ironwood Stage on May 5.
