Prairie rock classicists the Sheepdogs have a new album called Future Nostalgia, and as they hit the road in support of the collection, they've rolled out a lyric video for the track "I'm Gonna Be Myself."
The song has a vintage riff-rock vibe, with a crunchy sound that draws on Creedence Clearwater Revival and classic roots twang, while the chorus surges forward with "Whole Lotta Love"-esque muscle. The accompanying visuals tap into the decades-old vibe, and we see archival footage of concerts, rallies and people from the '60s. There are also some psychedelic effects, and the lyrics pop up in psychedelic font.
