Everyone and their mom got riled up about Kendall and Kylie Jenner's new line of "vintage" t-shirts earlier this week. Classic rock fans slammed the sisters for superimposing their selfies atop works by the likes of the Doors and Pink Floyd, while hip-hop devotees took offense to ripped-off imagery of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G.
Well, the latest person to publicly denounce the questionable fashion decision is Sharon Osbourne. Her husband, Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne, appears on one of the Jenners' new tees and she isn't having any of it.
In a scathing tweet, the TV personality and Ozzy manager berated Kendall and Kylie, telling them: "Girls, you haven't earned the right to put your face with musical icons."
Ending with a final jab, she added, "Stick to what you know…lip gloss."
Osbourne isn't the first family member of the appropriated artists to slam the t-shirt line on social media. The Notorious B.I.G.'s mother, Voletta Wallace, confirmed that her son's estate did not give permission for his likeness to be used in the designs, and called the shirts "disrespectful, disgusting and exploitation at its worst!!!"
The Jenners have since apologized, admitting the tees were "not well thought out," and that "it was not our intention to disrespect these cultural icons in any way." The offending garments have since been pulled from the Kendall + Kylie online store.
There's no word yet from Osbourne on whether its okay to use her daughter Kelly's hashtag #PissedMyOwnPants on future t-shirt designs.
