Ozzy Osbourne's ongoing health issues have gone from bad to worse recently, forcing the Black Sabbath hero to postpone all his 2019 tour dates. Now his wife and manager Sharon Oscbourne has opened up about her husband's various health issues, explaining how a fall in the middle of the night led to his most recent setback.

While on The Talk this week, Sharon discussed Ozzy's recent announcement to pull out of his 2019 touring commitments.

"Ozzy is… Oh, Lord, I don't know where to begin, and I have to make this quick," she said. "He, at the beginning of the year, had a bad flu that went to bronchitis, that went to pneumonia. And then when he had the flu, he came out of hospital and he had a bad accident at home. He fell — and he fell in the middle of the night."

Explaining things further, Sharon said, "And years ago, previously, he had a motorbike accident, where he was in a coma for days. And what he'd done was he re-injured his back and neck and shoulders. And all of the metal rods and everything that were put in his body were dislodged. So we had to cancel his year events. But he's good, he's fine, he's great."

Sharon then began to tear up a bit, saying: "He just feels terrible. He says it's the only thing he's ever done right in his life, is performing, and he just feels terrible."

You can watch it all play out below.

As previously reported, Ozzy was dealing with a recent bout of pneumonia at home when he re-injured himself and aggravated years-old injuries.

"I can't believe I have to reschedule more tour dates," Osbourne previously wrote in a statement. "Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I'm grateful for the love and support I'm getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it's really what's keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day…I will fully recover…I will finish my tour…I will be back!"

Last fall, Osbourne also cancelled dates of his North American farewell tour due to "multiple infections." He later revealed that he had three staph infections in this right thumb.
