Following this year's reissue campaign and some performances, Canadian instrumental rock trio Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet have announced a couple more reunion shows to get them through the summer.
In memory of the band's late bassist Reid Diamond, Shadowy Men will play a double-header in Toronto on August 12 at the Cameron House, with proceeds from each show going to a different charity.
The 8 p.m. performance will support Mindfulness Without Borders, a non-profit promoting social, economic, and environmental awareness that "aims to engage people across cultures to make each moment a turning point for peace and sustainable change."
The 11 p.m. performance, meanwhile, will benefit Hospice Toronto, a non-profit organization that has specialized in providing in-home hospice palliative care since 1988.
Tickets for both shows will be sold in advance starting July 28 at the Cameron.
