Sepultura's Igor Cavalera Goes Electronic on Debut Album with Mixhell, Gets Gui Boratto and Greg Puciato to Guest

Igor Cavalera is perhaps best known as the former drummer of Brazilian metal vets Sepultura, but these days, he plays electronic music with Mixhell. Their debut album, Spaces, is out June 11 on Last Gang Records/Boysnoize Records.

Mixhell features Cavalera along with DJ wife Laima Leyton and bassist Max Blum. Their album was mixed by fellow Brazilian electronic producer Gui Boratto. According to a press release, Spaces "blends old and new, taking the best elements of both dance, electronica and rock to create a fresh and exciting sound."

The band have lined up a few festival appearances for the summer, and a full tour is reportedly in the works.
