In 2013, Sean Foster and the Vaqueros went on a musical sojourn to Cuba, and they documented their travels with the film Psychedelic Troubadour: 6 Days on the Island. Following the recent premiere in Montreal, the 36-minute flick has now arrived online and can be watched at Exclaim.ca.
The film is soundtracked by new original music from the band, which spans mellow folk and punchy roots rock. There are lots of musical montages, in addition to interview clips, candid moments and live footage as the band explore the island, meet the locals and play shows. A press release notes that the tour found them "extending their jams onto the streets to the people's insistence, keeping the music going well into the night."
