A supergroup of sorts, Say Yes is composed of former Alexisonfire drummer Jordan Hastings and Saint Alvia member Adam Michael, alongside Michael Zane. The group are set to release their debut EP next week, which they've graciously let us stream in full now.
The group definitely share more with Saint Alvia than Alexisonfire, as you'll hear more uptempo dance pop than gravel-throated screamo. That said, Hastings and Michael have been working together for years.
"Adam and I have been writing together for over 15 years," Hastings said in a press release. "Even during Alexis's run, we'd still get together between tours and write music. We knew there was something special there, and over the last year or two, we've put a lot more into it."
