Gearing up for the release of their new self-titled album, New Jersey indie rockers Saves the Day have let loose a lyric video for the set's sugary sweet "Ring Pop."
The super-simple video set-up finds a cursive stream of white scrolling out singer Chris Conley's sentimentally sung lines on top of an eyeball-blasting crimson backdrop. Playing perhaps a bit too precious, the penmanship evolves into erratic squiggles once a wobbly guitar solo starts up. You can learn the lyrics to Saves the Day's new single down below via Alt Press.
As previously reported, Saves the Day drops September 17 via Equal Vision Records, though the band start their North American tour in support of the set earlier in the month. You can find out the details on the trip, which includes stops in Vancouver and Toronto, over here.
