Saskatoon music festival MoSo turns five this year, and to mark the occasion, organizers have put together an extra special lineup for their 2015 edition.

Previously announced performers include Deerhoof, the Wooden Sky, Rae Spoon, Swervedriver, Limblifter, Son Lux, Sunns + Jerusalem in My Heart, Birdstriking, and Cancer Bats.

Today (May 15), they've added Library Voices, Open Mike Eagle, Kappa Chow, and Tunic. They've also unveiled a list of local acts that will be given a chance in the spotlight, including the Moas, the Karpinka Brothers, ACRONYMS, and Snake River.

In addition, there will be a collaborative performance from Halifax artist Paper Beat Scissors and chamber music players from the Ritornello Chamber Music Festival, specially curated for MoSo Five.

"This is going to be our best year yet," said artistic director Rich Taylor in a statement. "We've got bands coming from as far away as the UK [Swervedriver] and China [Birdstriking], and are showcasing them alongside impressive local acts such as Library Voices and Shooting Guns."

The festival will take place at a variety of venues around Saskatoon's Broadway District and runs from June 18 to 21. Find full festival information over at MoSo's official website.
