Her name is Shea Couleé and she didn't come to play, she came to slay — and that's exactly what the RuPaul's Drag Race Season 9 alumnus does in the new video for "Rewind."
The song marks a decidedly more vulnerable sound for the drag queen, but the visuals are still as fierce as ever.
The black-and-white video captures Shea Couleé in full make-up-is-art drag and showing off her choreography skills, while other shots show the artist out of drag and dealing with the less glamourous realities of former relationships.
"'Rewind' is about time and relationships," Couleé said in a statement about the track. "How we look back on moments from the past and think how we could have changed them – but, also how, now, we have more knowledge of ourselves and are able to reflect. Personally, this video is remembering relationships – the craziness and passion."
