Run With the Kittens Ready to Drop 'Casio Glue Bomb,' Premiere Title Track

BY Scott A. GrayPublished Dec 10, 2015

Undaunted by the departure of six-string wizard, "Champagne" James Robertson, perpetually kooky genre-hoppers Run With the Kittens are back with a brand new double album to prove that a leaner lineup hasn't hampered their manic creativity.

Following up the Exclaim!-approved Letters from Camp, the 23 track Casio Glue Bomb drops on December 11 and the Kittens are celebrating its release with another sure-to-be legendary live set at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto that same night.

To whet your appetite for the long-running group's surprisingly cohesive blend of surf rock, psychobilly, lounge jazz, pop, punk, funk, electro, prog and whatever else strikes them in the fancy, Run With the Kittens 2.0 have shared the album with us, along with a series of enticement videos showcasing the trio's variously sultry and obsessive-compulsive preparation rituals.

All can be seen and heard below.

UPDATE (12/11, 5:10 p.m.): You can now also stream the entire album here
