Canadian singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith recently announced plans a new LP titled Carousel One, and now he's shared a lyric video for "Saint Bernard" off the upcoming release.
"I didn't realize until we were putting the songs together for Carousel One that this would be more outgoing, there's a lot more humour," said Sexsmith — which shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who follows the punny singer on Twitter.
As for the inspiration behind "Saint Bernard," the song is based on a photograph of an unknown family dog that his wife Colleen picked up at a second-hand shop. Fittingly, the new lyric video features an adorable Saint Bernard frolicking about in the snow, as the lyrics scroll across the screen.
