Rihanna Pays Tribute to Toronto's Ripley's Aquarium (and Drake) with Shark Tattoo

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Sep 2, 2016

#Aubrih shippers have been watching their wildest dreams come true recently, as things seem to be heating up between Drake and Rihanna. The rapper presented the singer with her MTV Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs last weekend (and even took out billboard space to congratulate her), and while Riri may have dodged a public kiss on stage when she accepted the award, the "Work" collaborators have since been seen smooching onstage in Miami.

After a touching thank-you note on Instagram, Rihanna has now shown her devotion to Drizzy and his hometown with a Toronto-inspired tattoo. She's inked a camouflage shark on her ankle, which many eager fans have pointed out mimics the ones found at Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto. She got the body art done at Bang Bang in New York, and the shop shared a photo of the fishy new tat.

Following the VMAs, Drake shared a photo of him and Rihanna cozying up right outside the aquatic animal attraction in Toronto with the CN Tower looming over them in the background.

The New York City tattoo shop also posted a mysterious, caption-less photo of somebody's feet beside Drizzy's own words. There's no word yet on whether the "Know Yourself" rapper got some new ink of his own.

And although Drake has yet to publicly acknowledge Riri's tattoo tribute to the Six, we're guessing he'll probably prefer it to the time that fan got his name inked across her forehead.
