Following the release of their stop-motion animated video for new single "Burn the Witch" and another online teaser this morning (May 6), Radiohead have shared another new track from their ninth studio album via a heartbreaking video. Better yet, they have finally gave us a firm due date for the new record.
"Daydreaming" sees the band once again make use of orchestral arrangements alongside gentle piano, keyboards and manipulated vocals. The accompanying video was directed by Paul Thomas Anderson.
The band have also revealed that their highly anticipated new record will arrive digitally this coming Sunday (May 8) at 7 p.m. BST (or 2 p.m. EDT). A physical release will then follow on June 17, and the record will arrive via XL Recordings. Strangely, though, the album's title has yet to be revealed.

"Daydreaming" follows the recent track "Burn the Witch," which is reportedly set for a 7-inch release on May 16 and out now digitally.
UPDATE (5/6, 4 p.m.): Much like how Radiohead's digital catalog was transferred from Parlophone over to XL, the same will be happening with the band's albums on vinyl. Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer, Hail to the Thief, In Rainbows and The King of Limbs will now arrive via XL on May 20.
