Propagandhi Share Scant Details On New Album

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Aug 27, 2008

Winnipeg punk heroes Propagandhi have leaked word that they are fast at work in the studio on a new full-length. Via the band’s website, bassist Todd Kowlski wrote: "We are very, very hard at work on writing songs for our new record. It is going extremely well. We are literally spending almost every moment we are awake working on them. We are having a blast!! Time is the only enemy!!! Yikes!!!!!!”

In fact, the politically charged Propagandhi are working so hard in the studio that this is all the information they have had time to provide on their new album. There’s no release date, no album art, no tracklisting, nothing — just the exclamation point-littered message above telling us they are working on it.

The new album will be Propagandhi’s first since the band’s 2005 effort, Potemkin City Limits.
