New York metal troupe Prong have announced they'll be taking their own songbook — not to mention those of Bad Brains, Black Flag and more — on an upcoming North American tour tied to the band's upcoming covers collection, Songs from the Black Hole.
The band had previously announced a batch of European dates behind the release, due March 31 via SPV/Steamhammer, but Tommy Victor and co. have now confirmed they'll be making their way across North America in the fall. The trip runs from October to December, and features numerous Canadian stops between Quebec City and Vancouver.
You'll find the full North American schedule down below. Info on next month's European trek can be found here.
As previously reported, Songs from the Black Hole features a number of newly interpreted songs from Prong. The artists saluted include punk acts like Hüsker Dü and Minor Threat, as well as a broader range of influences like Neil Young and Sisters of Mercy.
