Last week, pop star Prince suddenly died at the age of 57. While we await news on his official cause of death, other problems have arisen in the artist's wake. For example, his sister claims he did not leave a will.

As the Associated Press reports, Prince's last remaining full sibling Tyka Nelson has filed paperwork asking for a Minneapolis court to assign a special administrator to oversee his estate.

In her filing, Nelson described the situation as an emergency. After all, Prince left behind $27 million in property — not to mention a discography that is now skyrocketing in sales.

Nelson has requested that the private trust company Bremer Trust be assigned as the administrator of Prince's estate.
