All right all you '90s alt-rock lovers, it's time to start practising those air bass moves, since Primus are hitting the road in support of last year's Green Naugahyde.
Once again, the shows are being billed as "An Evening with Primus," with most nights promising two full sets from the headliners (there are a few exceptions when another act also appears on the bill). This latest North American outing stretches from early May to late June, and includes one Canadian date: June 15 at Vancouver's Orpheum Theatre.
To coincide with the tour, Primus will release a limited-edition ten-inch single through ATO Records, containing live versions of "Jilly's on Smack" and "Eyes of the Squirrel." Fittingly enough, it will be wrapped in a sleeve made from green naugahyde (which is a type of fake leather).
A press release reports that the limited-edition vinyl will be available at indie record shops in late April. There's no word as to whether it will be out for Record Store Day on April 21, but we're guessing that's a safe bet.
