Porcupine Tree will return with their first new album in 12 years this June, and before Closure / Continuation arrives, the trio have announced plans to take it on tour in North America later this year.

Today, the English prog outfit — featuring frontman Steven Wilson, keyboardist Richard Barbieri and drummer Gavin Harrison — have unveiled new tour dates in North and South America, two of which come in Canada.

Porcupine Tree will kick off the tour with a pair of stops in Canada. A first date will bring them to Toronto's Meridian Hall on September 10, ahead of a stop at Place Bell in Laval, QC, on September 12.

You can find Porcupine Tree's complete 2022 tour itinerary below, alongside new song "Of the New Day" and Closure / Continuation's newly revealed tracklist.

Tickets for Porcupine Tree's North American tour dates go on sale to the general public March 11 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Listeners who pre-order the new album will gain access to a presale for North and South America dates, running March 9 at 10 a.m. through March 10th. Further details are available via the band's official website.

As previously reported, Closure / Continuation arrives June 24 via Music For Nations/Megaforce Records, and will mark their first full-length release since 2009's The Incident. In 2020, Porcupine Tree shared rare recordings on Bandcamp.

In January of last year, Wilson delivered solo album THE FUTURE BITES.

2. Of the New Day
