Pomegranates are clearly the product of their influences, which basically consist of a combination of Bright Eyes and the Arts and Crafts catalogue. The result is a collection of five songs that feature a wide range of instruments, claps and sing-alongs, with a knack for melody and switching from driving rhythms to more introspective, quieter moments before turning to Minus The Bear-inspired guitar noodling. The songs contained on Two Eyes have a natural flow and evolution, often ending in raucous singing, clapping and stomping. The biggest drawback Two Eyes suffers from is simply a lack of songs, which in a way makes it the perfect EP; it grabs your attention but leaves you wanting more.
